GREEN RECOVERY
US EPA - New Source Performance Standards - 40 CFR § Part 60

This rule requires that CleanSmart achieve significant emissions reduction through the use of a proven process known as a “reduced emissions completion” or “green completion.” This process is estimated to reduce methane and VOC emissions by 95 percent.
In a green completion, CleanSmart uses a Membrane Gas Recovery Unit to separate gas and liquid hydrocarbons from the flowback that comes from the well as it is being prepared for production. The gas and hydrocarbons can then be treated and used or sold, avoiding the waste of natural resources that cannot be renewed. E&P operators must have a separator on site during the entire well completion process for development wells
